  • The Jazz Mandolin - Like the jazz uke, is a smaller version of my 17" archtop guitar. It features a carved spruce top, carved maple back and sides, and maple sides and neck. The body, neck, peghead, and sound holes are fully bound. Hand cut mother of pearl and abalone inlays on the peghead and fingerboard, gold plated hardware. Ebony fingerboard and pickguard.

  • The Stratford - The "Stratford" is a traditional guitar with traditional values, designed to be a full-voiced acoustic archtop, hand made and custom fitted to the individual player.

  • The Langstyle - Designed with the great guitarist Eddie Lang in mind. It's my version of the guitar Eddie played in his career, and is featured on so many early jazz classic sides, especially the ones with his friends Joe Venuti and Bing Crosby.

  • DeCava L'Artista - The L'Artista highlights the natural look of the woods used in making it.

  • Introducing The DeCava Jazz Uke!

The Jazz Uke is a miniature archtop .  The construction and materials are the same as on an archtop guitar, with a carved solid spruce top, and the sides, back, and neck of figured maple. The fingerboard is ebony and the inlays are mother of pearl. The back is not carved, but is braced like the back of a traditional uke, in order to allow more volume when using nylon strings. The DeCava Jazz Uke is featured on "The Good Ukulele Company" web site.

  • L'Artista Mandolin - Based on a traditional theme, L'Artista also  has features based on the arch top guitar in its construction. The radiused fingerboard and bridge, along with larger than traditional frets, makes playing much easier on the left hand. The finish on this particular instrument is a turquoise sunburst allowing the natural wood to show through.
